Weapon Upgrades Part I (Swords) by RedW0lf777sg Weapon Upgrades Part I (Swords) by RedW0lf777sg
From left to right you have sword sets Lv. 1, Lv. 2 and Lv. 3. These are drawings that shows that I could do concept art of weapons and their upgrade forms.

Thank you. So what is your feedback on these weapon designs? <=3

The blades do look a bit uncomfortable to hold, given all the metal bits sticking out around the handle. And the greatswords look a bit too big to handle efficiently. But overall, keep doing what you're doing.

:iconsweatplz: Well, yes, that I know, mate. But then again these are sci-fi/fantasy theme sword after all, these are the kind of swords that are only used in anime, manga, or video games and what not. You know what I mean??

And thank you very kindly, sir, I'll do my best to keep bringing in more weapon designs like these. =3

Well, didn't Guts have a sword that was something stupid like 7 feet tall? So yours might actually be conventional :P

Well...Guts' Dragonslayer sword is 7' foot in length and 1' foot in width so it's a pretty big sword, but then again Guts was a pretty big guy himself with a height of 6'4". And usually swordsmen would carry swords that was suited for their height. Now my large sword designs are base on the first sword that Guts used when he was with the band of the hawks, which was 5 to 6 foot in length and 3 inches in width. Which is the more plausible large swords next to claymore swords. goodsmile-global.ecq.sc/media/…

Ah, yes the sheath, I do fine drawing a bit tricky because you have to make sure that weapon would fit in it. Especially if sword has a strange shape to it.

Sweet! I have a couple of Bleach (no idea if you are familiar with that or not) OC characters that their weapons... are not final and I could use some advice specifically involving them and finding a design that fits and is awesome... is that okay?

Yes, yes, I am fully familiar with anime, but stop watching it after 151st episode. Aright just sent me their profile and whatever images on what you want. All of this will help me to design their weapons.

Okay, good :)

There's the problem of sorts. I've yet to get them down on paper, I find that difficult... I was hoping to have a bit of a discussion of sorts.. trial and error and whatnot... ^^;

If you don't mind, I might use one or two of these swordblades as shape inspirations for some spaceships.

........Damn, never thought of that. Originally this was set of two swords which was inspired by a PS1 game call "Brave Fencer Musashi", but what you said sounds like a better idea. But at the same time sounds a little too much like the anime "Bleach" ^_^;;;;

It is a good show, but not a great one when compared to the classic animes of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.
