Weapon Concept Art: Shotguns (Part I) by RedW0lf777sg Weapon Concept Art: Shotguns (Part I) by RedW0lf777sg
These are some shotguns that I design back in 2010, one is a 8 gauge revolver shotgun, while the one below it is a 8 gauge semi-auto high capacity shotgun.

Now when it came to the revolver shotgun it did not came out the way I thought it to be, so it became my least favorite and to be honest it's not exactly one of my best shotgun designs.

The 2nd shotgun has a quad-tube revolving magazine (which the operator can manually rotate with the flip of a switch), this semi-auto shotgun offers 16-rounds of easily reloadable power. The magazine can be dropped and replaced with a loaded one almost instantly.

8 GAUGE!!?? that's scary. like outlawed kind of scary. neat though. I guess I can see some of your flaws but you put so much detail in both the drawing and the concept. does this also have a recoil dampener? other wise you'd have to be a bad ass to use this. not that the fact it's 8 gauge isn't bad ass enough

Does it have a  recoil dampener? well, my friend I can't really tell you that, because I never gotten really far with these designs and quite frankly not my best shotgun designs, hence the rough draft look to them. ^_^;;

Oh, and one more thing..... if you think 8 gauge is scary, try 4 gauge shotgun shells! >=3

I didn't think so, They don't have the kind of look, that I'm looking for in a shotgun of this type.

That is right, my friend that is the shotgun, I base my design on. It's an interesting weapon design and somewhat innovative when comes to shotguns. But it does have its flaws. =3

if you didn't have to rotate the mag every four rounds id like it more than the ksg 14

Yes, yes. Like I said, it's not without it's flaws, but it's just a minor one with a lot of practice and discipline until rotate the mag becomes second nature to you. But I do suppose they could have done better with the concept and all.

Unless this is absolutely massive, the the underbarrel magazines would be about twice as wide compared to the rest of the weapon. 8ga is freaking huge, there's a reason no one uses it anymore, let alone for a combat shotgun. This might work, and it'd be pretty cool in 12ga, if a little mass effect-y

You think 8ga is huge?, try 4ga shells now those are huge!

And even more non-standard than 8ga, they're a novelty (well, so is 8gauge) like the S&W .500 and the .950 JDJ :P

But then again these shotguns are intended for anime and video games.

That's no reason to throw reasonability into a river and then burn the river :P

Yes, yes. But from risk comes progress.
